11.355 miles away between Chile and South Korea didn’t bother love to bloom.
In a very unexpected way, Francisco and Jenna were met in Seoul in a beer event.
From the first sight, Jenna found him so cute, handsome and attractive! So did Fransisco!
After few similar meet-ups with groups of friends, when they first started so-called date was 6 months after the first meet.
From what we know from Jenna, Francisco sounds like a very romantic guy. Jenna told us that the moment he proposed was a total surprise! (Although every member from Francisco knew that he would propose her)
“In Korea, usually there is no engagement period, meaning, sometimes grooms-to-be give the engagement ring to his fiance just few weeks before the ceremony. So as the one from this culture, I thought there would be a verbal agreement to get married and then after all the process, he might give me the ring for the practice. Recalling this moment, It still feels like in a dream that my boyfriend popped the question out of blue, kneeling in front of the beautiful view of glowing Petronas twin towers in Kuala Lumpur. I would never forget this happiest moment of my life.” - said Jenna.
On the day, there were a Korean traditional ceremony, Pyebaek. As their wedding was a destination wedding, the ceremony was their own simplified version of it. But still everyone looks enjoyed it! As their wedding photographer, personally I really love to see new things that I didn’t know before, it makes me feel excited! I think it is because I always inspired by people and their culture, not just the place where they’re came from but the story and their journey makes it special!
To make it short, I just wanted to say congratulation to both of them! Just always stay in love and loving each other! Like what’s Jenna said on her vow, “ I vow to always support your dreams and decision with enthusiasm and pride whether its for new
career move or spending the whole weekend watching Netflix series or youtube. “
And Francisco said on his vow, “I promise to listen, to hear, and to learn from you for everything it takes to continue being the man that today I see in your eyes.”
May the love you already have will grow and spreading to all the people you meet!
Cheers from Bali to you guys!
With love,
Bagus.
